It was delightful to see her again but I am missing Jan still. How were the holidays? Lots of football?

I have really terrible news Emilee. My dad died in his sleep last night.
Ellis and I spent last weekend with my parents and we had been vacationing in the mountains since then. We were planning to come back today. My mom called me about 1:30 in the morning and told me that the EMTs were there and they couldn't find a pulse. His poor heart just quit on him.
I am back at my mom's place. The funeral will be Tuesday and I will probably be back at work on Thursday is my best guess.
It is very quiet here right now--just me and Mom but people will start arriving tomorrow.
I am very tired and I miss my Daddy. Please remember me in your prayers. I hope to talk to you soon.
